The author of eight books and more than a thousand national magazine articles — including features in Smithsonian, Audubon, Reader's Digest, Inc., Outside, Men's Journal, Saturday Evening Post and Playboy — Jay Stuller also spent 23 years in public affairs and communications at Chevron Corporation, which Fortune ranks as the third largest corporation in the United States and sixth largest in the world. Working with the company’s most senior executives, he was intimately involved in all aspects of the global business and its issues.

Stuller thus brings an exceptionally rare combination of business and media knowledge to his consulting practice. While serving a variety of clients, his primary focus today is his work as Managing Director & Chief Communications Officer at Bender Consulting.

Still a mainstream journalist, he is a frequent contributor to Hemispheres, the United Airlines in-flight; NCGA Golf, the quarterly of the Northern California Golf Assocation; Chief Executive Magazine; The American Legion Magazine; and among others, Kiwanis. His latest piece is fall 2009 cover story in the Conference Board Review, which is published by the New York-based Conference Board.   Called The Need for Speed, it analyzes the acceleration of 21st century society and its impact on executive decision-making.
